About vaccination for COVID-19 (Novel Corona Virus)
Dear All International Students,
COVID-19 infection is now expanding again. The Japanese Government is conducting vaccination against COVID-19 based on the Immunization Law. The Immunization Law stipulates that “efforts must be made to receive vaccinations” with a view of preventing the spread of COVID-19. Therefore, in principle, the University of Yamanashi recommends vaccination to all students and faculty members.
Free vaccinations for COVID-19 are available not only at our University Hospital in the city of Chuo, but also many vaccination venues, temporary established in most municipalities. In the city of Kofu, group inoculations are held every weekend at KOKORI in the downtown Kofu www.kokori.jp. You can make a reservation online.
