Dear New Comers
Congratulation on your admission. Welcome to the University of Yamanashi.
The year of 2021 starts with a unique situation influenced by novel virus: Increase of vaccination will bring us some improvements, however. Please keep caution to information from the University and Health Care Center.
The Center provides first aid medical service and medical consultations. In addition, medical doctors of the Center can write a letter of introduction to clinics or hospitals for your smooth access to proper medical treatment, if necessary. All medical staffs are available in English.
Our office hours are from eight thirty to seventeen fifteen on weekdays. No fee will be charged for the usage of our Center. In Kofu Campus, the Center is in front of fountain square on the West campus. In Medical School Campus in the city of Chuo, a branch exists on the first floor of the Administration building.
According to Japanese law, all university students must have a health check-up annually. For new comers, it starts on Monday, April 5th. Please see your check-up schedule on event information and confirm your date and time.
