About novel coronavirus infection: Current status
- On May 4, the government announced extending the state of emergency until May 31, but relaxing some restrictions in certain prefectures including Yamanashi. Please note that the specific areas severely affected by COVID-19, such as Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama, Chiba, Ibaraki and other areas still need extra caution. According to the changes above, 1)The task of Yamanashi from now on is to sustain business and social activities while maintaining public health. The rule of 3Cs: avoid closed, crowded and close-range conversations will remain as an important practice to maintain our health. 2)The extension of the state of emergency will be lifted when it becomes unnecessary.
