Message from the Director
Dear newcomers,
Congratulations on your enrollment. Welcome to University of Yamanashi.
The year of 2022 has started under the prolonged influence of COVID-19 infection. There are signs that the pandemic will subside, please keep caution to information from the University and Health Care Center, however.
The Center provides first aid medical service and medical consultations. In addition, medical doctors and staff members of the Center are willing to support you and your smooth access to proper medical treatment at the clinics or hospitals here. All members communicate in English.
Our office hours are from 8:30 to 17:15 on weekdays. No fee will be charged for the usage of our Center. In Kofu Campus, the Center is located right beside the fountain square on the west campus. In Medical School campus in Chuo city, a branch center is on the first floor of the Administration building.
It is mandatory for all university students to have a health check-up annually. For newcomers this academic year, it will start on Monday, April 4th. Please check your check-up date and time on the starting procedure.
